New Jersey Farmhouse

Interior Photographer New Jersey Farm House

As a residential interior design photographer, I was thrilled when Bespoke Builders Group asked me to come out to New Jersey from New York to photograph this beautiful house in picturesque Harding Township.

With the exteriors, we shot at dusk, where it was light enough to get all the details but dark enough for the interior windows to glow.

Located in Morris County, New Jersey, Harding Township is a serene community known for its natural beauty, rural character, and the ultra old money rich that live there. Every natural thing you could possibly want is there: rolling hills, lush forests, and meandering streams.

The client wanted the fireplace featured in this shot. The problem was the only lights were two sconces on the back of the house. We had to light the entire patio and house for this shot. As a residential interior design photographer for fifteen years, I’d never lit an exterior while the interior remained ambient.

For this shot, I used the ambient light from inside the dining room. For out the windows, I did a 30-second exposure then combined both these shots

Harding Township dates back to colonial times, and there are plenty of 18th-century homes including the historic Brick Academy, a former schoolhouse turned museum. These historic structures provide a glimpse into the township’s past and contribute to its timeless charm.

Harding Township, with its blend of natural beauty, historic charm, and a close-knit community, offers a coveted lifestyle for those seeking a peaceful retreat from the urban bustle while maintaining easy access to modern conveniences
